Palma outweighs 4.8 million passengers in August
The airport remains high in the central month of the season.
Reference period: August 2026
Aena has 4,808,295 passengers in Palma de Mallorca during August, 2.3% more than a year earlier. The cumulative figure from January to August was 24,402,872.
Air traffic helps to understand the connectivity of the island. It includes arrivals and departures and thus does not represent unique people or direct demand for real estate. The study of a tourist asset should link accessibility with its own production data and with the monthly distribution of activity, rather than projecting the final month especially for the year.
